Epoxy zinc phosphate is used to make Zinc Phosphate Primers and sealers that have a non-porous finish. They are mainly recommended as the first base coat on bare steel. These base coats or Zinc Phosphate Primers are also used on fibreglass, plastic or black iron phosphate coatings.
